My Addiction to Cereal

I say I’m addicted to a lot of things and this is another one of those things. I know cereal isn’t that good for you, but I just can’t get enough of this waffle crunch. I actually just finished a bowl of it, if you haven’t tried this cereal yet I suggest you do just BE CAREFUL. I mean look at how that monkey loves it. 🙂 What’s your favorite cereal? ❤

Homemade Salsa

I made this salsa last week and it was really good, so I thought I would share it with you guys. Here we go.

Ingredients:

1 can (28 once) whole tomatoes

2 cans (10 ounce) diced tomatoes with green chiles

1/4 cup chopped onion

2 cloves of garlic

1/4 teaspoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 cup cilantro (you can add more to taste)

1/2 whole lime juice

Add everything into your food processor (if you’re using a blender you might want to half this recipe because it makes a large batch). Pulse until you get the salsa to the consistency you like. Enjoy! ❤ 🙂

Lately I’ve been eating grapefruit like a crazy person. So, I wanted to see what the benefits of grapefruit are. And well here I’ll just share with you all 3 benefits of this amazing fruit. (Because I’m too lazy to do any more than that).

*Protects your heart (your rib cage can’t do all the work)

*Smooths rough skin (you know lotion ain’t gonna cure all that roughness)  (cut one in half sprinkle a little sugar over it and rub over you skin; skip your face it can irritate it)

*Boosts your metabolism (cause who doesn’t want a high metabolism)

Apple Carrot Orange Berry Juice

I know it’s a long name, but I couldn’t think of anything else. So, if you can tell me in the comments. Anyway let’s get to it.

Ingredients:

Handful of strawberries (tops cut off)

Handful of blackberries

5 purple carrots or regular ones (tops & bottoms cut off)

1 apple (cut in 4’s)

3/4 of an orange (peeled)

Directions:

Plop your ingredients into the juicer one at a time. Enjoy! ❤ 🙂

Rooibos Tea & Grapefruit-Ade

Hey guys, so I didn’t actually make this drink but it was in a Martha Stewart magazine and quite frankly you can’t go wrong with Martha Stewart magazines. I got this picture off of Pinterest, so next week I might show how mine turned out. But don’t count on it cause I might forget. Anyway, let’s get to it.

Ingredients:

2 bags of rooibos tea

1/2 cup of sugar

1 cup grapefruit juice

Directions:

Brew tea in 2 cups of boiling water for 4 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool completely. Combine sugar and 1/2 cup water in small pot. Bring it to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Let cool, then combine with grapefruit juice and tea in a pitcher. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy! 🙂
