R.I.P. Maya Angelou

Yesterday, May 28th 2014, the world lost an author, a poet, an actress, a film director, should I keep going or not. I don’t have many words to say about this beautiful legendary women, but she certainly has left us with many words she’s shared over the years. Check out this post on Mashable.com about Maya Angelou and read some of her quotes that are full of wisdom. ❤ (I wanted to use “wisdomic” but it’s apparently not a word.)

P.S. This will also count for my Factual Friday, even though it’s Thursday. 🙂

School’s Out!!!!

Well it’s finally here. The thing we’ve all been waiting for, the break from school, the vacations, the beaches, the late nights, the point in life where you just get a break. Not unless you have summer school, if you do then that sucks for you, but back to the happiness. Let me know what you guys are doing for the summer, going on a family vacation, going to summer camp, or staying inside on the computer. I’ll probably be doing the last one. anyway, enjoy your SUMMER! ❤ 🙂

Noooooo!!! I’m sick

Golden Retriever puppy

Dracula’s Castle For Sale

Anybody want Dracula’s castle? Apparently, the castle is up for grabs, well up for grabs for whoever has enough money to buy it. So, if that’s you here’s the Yahoo article about it and if you do get make sure you invite me over for dinner or something. I could actually live in one part of the house and you wouldn’t even know. But, I wouldn’t do that. Or would I? Ok, Bye… Enjoy your weekend! 🙂

Rooibos Tea & Grapefruit-Ade

Hey guys, so I didn’t actually make this drink but it was in a Martha Stewart magazine and quite frankly you can’t go wrong with Martha Stewart magazines. I got this picture off of Pinterest, so next week I might show how mine turned out. But don’t count on it cause I might forget. Anyway, let’s get to it.

2 bags of rooibos tea

1/2 cup of sugar

1 cup grapefruit juice

Brew tea in 2 cups of boiling water for 4 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool completely. Combine sugar and 1/2 cup water in small pot. Bring it to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Let cool, then combine with grapefruit juice and tea in a pitcher. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy! 🙂

P.S. Since I haven’t tried it if you do, tell me how it goes.

Reminder: Mother’s Day is Coming!!!!

I just wanted to remind you guys that Mother’s Day is on the way. The only reason I’m really reminding you is because I almost forgot it (hopefully my mom doesn’t see this post). Anyway, if you’re a MOM and you’re reading this I want to thank you for all that you’ve for your children and everyone else you have been the mother-like figure for. And if you’re the child of a mother or the spouse of a mother or a mother-to-be, I hope you’ve already gotten a gift. Cause it’s a little late to one getting one now. I’m just kidding procrastination is the key. No it’s not. Don’t listen to me. I’m gonna go now.
