Homemade Eggnog ( Non-Alcoholic, Of Course!)


Each year, around this time, I stock my refrigerator with cartons and cartons of eggnog. This year I’ll be doing the same, but with homemade eggnog, which is way better than any store bought brand.

6 eggs (be careful with raw eggs, esp. if pregnant)
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 cups milk
1 pint (5 oz) heavy whipping cream
1 pinch nutmeg
1 pinch salt

Beat eggs; mix in condensed milk, vanilla, milk, nutmeg & salt.
Beat whipping cream until soft peaks begin to form (this will take about 3 days, just kidding, but it will take a while).
Fold into egg & milk mixture.
